Well, my husband had a wake to go to tonight so I had to put Ava to bed by myself which means that Eliza has to come with me to read stories and get Ava to fall asleep. I thought I had it all worked out.....I fed Eliza and she will go right to sleep which will make reading stories a breeze.
Except Ava decides she wants to read the Cinderella pop-up book for a bedtime story which is written for a 30 year old instead of a 3 year old and is VERY long. In the meantime, Eliza is not crying but constantly moving and spitting out the binky....which is requiring two hands for me to take care of. Ava wants to cuddle with me, as I do her but then she is getting mad every time I have to move my arm to put the darn binky back in Eliza's mouth in efforts for her to fall asleep.
Well, I finally finished this excruciatingly long book and lay with Ava to fall asleep. She has this bad habit that she wants to hold my hand when she falls asleep but again...Eliza is just not settling down....squirming in my arms....that's how she was in my belly too! ( I call her my StrollerFit baby bc she loves moving all the time....the only time she is happy really) Sorry...digressing....anyway, I couldn't hold Ava's hand which, to be honest, was disappointing to the both of us. It just breaks my heart sometimes when I have to pick one over the other especially when that's our cuddly down time. I know that's not going to last long so I am trying to enjoy it while I can. I know it's not all the time so it's just going to have to be ok. The trials of having two children. I am thankful that I have them both to complain about.
Had to go to a doc appointment today and everything turned out good...thankfully. Traci covered my StrollerFit classes and said they went great! She loved the new facility I am in.
She hadn't seen it before. I am going to go to her StrollerFit class on Saturday since I haven't seen her class in a while.

The Bump Networking Event and StrollerFit
Ok...here it goes...my first attempt at blogging. I am a talkaholic so this shouldn't be too hard.
So..Cari and I went to a networking event at the Children's Museum in Boston for all baby based businesses like StrollerFit. I didn't know what to to expect but it turned out to be a lot like trying to meet someone at a bar but instead of trying to meet just one person, you are trying to meet everyone in the room. It was fun actually....much more fun than dating ever was, that's for sure! Talking to like-minded women in all different fields. I made lots of great contacts and spread the word about StrollerFit and Restore the Core to anyone who would listen. I am now getting in over my head talking about trying to coordinate a mini-metrowest baby fair with the owner of Healthy Habits Kitchen where my StrollerFit moms went for a mom's night out and had a great time.
I like to do that sort of thing but have never done it at that big of a scale....it will take a lot of work but it is a challenge I would like to meet. We'll see...
